In October of 2005 Xanadu Home of the Future was demolished to make way for new condos This was
the last of the Xanadu homes.
We tried to save it but there was no way to come up with the 1.4 Million dollars the developers said the
land was worth, and trying to move it was next to impossible. To move it was next to impossible due to
the basement, and the size of the foundation.
Xanadu took on vandals, even three Hurricanes and survived them all, but in the end a bulldozer and
backhoe took Xanadu down.
